April 21st to 22nd
Bardo is used to refer to the state between death and rebirth. In Tibetan Buddhism, this in-between state is seen as a precious opportunity to reach liberation as the coarse forces of this life cease to apply. Furthermore, bardo can refer to any transitional state, many of which can occur even in this very life and can thus be utilized to reach enlightenment.
